APPLICATION / NOMINATION INVITED FOR AFST(I) AWARDS for the Year 2017 :
Two New Awards have been Instituted during the current year.
1) Dr. D B Wankhede Excellence Award
2) Prof. Carl Hoseney Award

The Guidelines for all Awards:
- Award is granted for the work carried out in India except for AFST(I) Fellow Award.
- Application / Nomination can be made for only one award.
- As AFST(I) Fellow is the highest award by AFST(I), Applicants of AFST(I) Fellow will not be considered for any other category of awards.
- Any AFST(I) awardee of earlier years will not be eligible to apply for any other award for a period of 3 years, except for (i) Prof. Carl Hoseney Award (ii) Dr. D B Wankhede Excellence Award (iii) Best Student award and (iv) AFST(I) Education and Publication Trust Scholarship award.
- Four copies of Application/ Nomination on white paper along with bio-data, achievements and 200 words write up on your contributions in the specific area of the award, all together not exceeding 10 pages should be submitted.
- One copy of Self Evaluation Score Sheets (Forms) to be submitted with supporting documents as mentioned in the instructions of each form. Appropriate Forms (Forms A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H & I) needs to be filled depending on the award applied for (Forms available at https://www.afsti.org/awards-detail).
- Applicants are advised to carefully go through the Instructions before filling the Forms. Applications / Nominations with incomplete documents or information will not be considered for the award applied for.
- Soft Copies of items mentioned in items 5 & 6 above (without supporting documents) must be sent for the consideration of the application/nomination for any award. The soft copies may please be sent to afstimys@gmail.com
- The award is considered only for the contributions till December 31, 2017. Any contributions after this date will not be included in the evaluation.

All Nominations/Applications along with appropriate supporting documents should be sent by registered post, in an envelope superscribed with the names of the respective award, so as to reach The Honorary Secretary, Association of Food Scientists and Technologists (India), No. E1-1, CFTRI Quarters, CSIR-CFTRI campus, Mysuru - 570 020, India, on or before 5.00 PM on September 29, 2018.
